Freshman/Advanced Freshman
- This online application and signed application agreement statement
- $50 application fee or completed fee waiver (request waiver from your high school or college counseling office)
- Two
Personal Recommendations
- Official transcripts sent directly from your high school and college (if applicable). Students applying from non-English speaking countries must provide certified English translation.
- Official record of the SAT I or ACT scores
- Official Advanced Placement (AP) test scores
Transfer
- This online application and signed application agreement statement
- $50 application fee or completed fee waiver (request waiver from your college counseling office)

Personal Recommendations
- Official transcripts sent directly from your college. Students applying from non-English speaking countries must provide certified English translation.
- Transfer students who follow the UC, CSU, or IGETC general education requirements and have completed an associates degree need to submit verification.
- Completion of college-level English and college algebra with a grade of C or better is a major consideration in making admission decisions. Students are strongly encouraged to complete these courses prior to submitting the ULV application for admission.
International Students
- TOEFL. Official score must be sent from the testing service
- International student forms
- Certified financial bank statement or affidavit demonstrating sufficient funding for study
Students applying from non-English speaking countries must provide certified English translations for all transcripts.
If courses beyond high school were taken in a non-English speaking country, copies of transcripts should be sent to International Educational Research Foundation Credential Evaluation Service for an official evaluation of transferable credit.
By March 2
- File a GPA verification form to be Cal Grant eligible California residents only
- File the FAFSA (if appropriate) for maximum funding eligibility

How to Use the University of La Verne Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left
column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current
screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct
your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to
skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the
application.
