Description
Interview job applicants in employment office and refer them to prospective employers for consideration. Experience

- Conducts or arranges for skills, intelligence, or psychological testing of applicants.
- Refers applicants to vocational counseling services.
- Contacts employers to solicit orders for job vacancies and records information on forms to describe duties, hiring requirements, and related data.
- Evaluates selection and testing techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and conferring with management and supervisory personnel.
- Keeps records of applicants not selected for employment.
- Reviews job orders and matches applicants with job requirements, utilizing manual or computerized file search.
- Reviews employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
