Description
Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile-control systems in aircraft or space vehicles.
Experience
A minimum of two to four years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for these occupations. For example, an accountant must complete four years of college and work for several years in accounting to be considered qualified.
Education

Tasks

- Connects components to assemblies, such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters, and in-flight refueling systems, using hand tools and soldering iron.
- Sets up and operates ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight test of electrical and electronic systems.
