Repair and service bicycles.
Experience
Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience may be helpful in these occupations, but usually is not needed. For example, a drywall installer might benefit from experience installing drywall, but an inexperienced person could still learn to be an installer with little difficulty.
Education

Tasks
- Disassembles axle to repair, adjust, and replace defective parts, using hand tools.
- Installs and adjusts speed and gear mechanisms.
- Paints bicycle frame, using spray gun or brush.
- Repairs holes in tire tubes, using scraper and patch.
- Welds broken or cracked frame together, using oxyacetylene torch and welding rods.
- Assembles new bicycles.
- Installs, repairs, and replaces equipment or accessories, such as handle bars, stands, lights, and seats.
- Shapes replacement parts, using bench grinder.
- Aligns wheels.
