Application Process
- Submit this online application.
Specify when you plan to enroll.
Every advantage goes to the early applicant.
- Pay a nonrefundable $45 application fee online or send a check or money order via mail.
In some cases, Biola will accept the College Board fee waiver or letter from the applicant's high school counselor verifying family financial hardship in place of the application fee.
- Submit official transcripts from high school and from every school attended after high school graduation.
Transcripts must be requested for all coursework completed at the time of application.
Final official transcripts must be submitted upon completion of course of study.
Transcripts will be considered official only when sent directly from the institution to Biola.
Transfer students must still submit a high school transcript.
- Submit scores from the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT (SAT/College Board Code 4017, ACT Code 0172).
The SAT or ACT is required of all applicants except those who will have sophomore classification in college upon application to the University (requires 27 semester units of accepted course work).
Students applying for the education and nursing majors are required to submit test scores regardless of classification.
International students under F-1 student visa may register for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), rather than the SAT/ACT.
- Submit two recommendations.
One reference must come from a member of the pastoral staff of your church.
The other should come from a high school teacher, counselor, or a college instructor.
Forms must be addressed to the Office of Admissions.
(References should be provided by persons outside of your own family who can attest to your academic ability and Christian testimony).
Please contact the admissions department with questions or concerns.
