If you have put off getting your degree for too long, you have come to the right place to finish your Bachelor’s Degree.

WJU offers a one night a week program designed for working adults.  Students report this program has changed their lives and has prepared them for increased responsibility and the rewards that come with it.  Our faculty members are academically qualified and practicing professionals in their subject areas.

Admission Criteria


If you have . . .
  • Completed at least 30 transferable units of college level coursework for acceptance into the SPS Bridge Program (Proof of high school graduation or GE is required when less than 60 units are accepted in transfer.)
  • Completed at least 60 transferable units of college level coursework and applicable prerequisites for acceptance into a major
  • Two years or more of full time work experience (post high school)
  • Cumulative 2.00 GPA (on 4.0 scale) on all prior college level coursework (Applicants with lower GPA will be considered on a case-by-case basis.) 
You can complete . . .
  • Undergraduate majors in as little as 19 months
  • Post-baccalaureate majors in as little as 12 months

Application Procedures

Prior to Acceptance

  1. Complete this online application. After you are finished, click the SUBMIT button located in the left column of the application and follow the directions. Print and sign the application agreement statement that appears after you submit this online application. Return the signed copy of the application agreement statement to the Admission Office at the address below.

  2. To avoid delays in processing your application, please submit a $45 nonrefundable application fee with the application agreement statement.

  3. Please submit the following two recommendation forms: Download PDF Personal Recommendation Form and Download PDF Academic Recommendation Form.

  4. Essay Response: Personal Letter of Introduction (500 word minimum)

    Write a letter of recommendation about yourself to William Jessup University. Please include comments regarding your academic preparation and experience, services to your community, why you are applying to WJU, and a statement of personal faith. Be sure to include in your letter, responses to the following two questions.

    • What benefits do you personally expect from attending a Christian university, particularly William Jessup?

    • What contributions do you hope to make to enrich the University community?

  5. Send an official high school transcript showing graduation (or its equivalent) and official transcripts from all colleges attended.

  6. Submit official reports of Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT I) scores or the American College Test (ACT). The WJU number for the SAT I is 4756 and the number for the ACT is 0417. You may be exempt from the SAT I or ACT requirement if you have 24 academically solid transferable semester or 36 quarter units from another accredited college.

  7. International students (those applicants who will be entering the U.S. on a student visa/I-20) are required to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Second Language) and submit additional WJU international student forms (see international student admissions policies).

Enrollment Deposit:

Applicants are required to submit a $250 enrollment deposit postmarked by June 1, at which time the deposit becomes nonrefundable. Deposits postmarked after this date may result in the loss of your space for the semester. Priority consideration for housing and financial aid is given to those students who submit the deposit to the Admission Office by June 1.

Spring semester - December 1

How to Use the William Jessup University Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
