IMPORTANT - This is an application form for admission into SCE for New Students Only!

Do not fill this application out if you have ever taken classes with the School of Continuing Education, Cypress College or Fullerton College. This application is for students new to the North Orange County Community College District, which includes the institutions noted above.

NEW STUDENTS

You are a new student if you have never applied with Cypress College, Fullerton College, or the School of Continuing Education.

How to Expedite Your Application

  • Please provide a Social Security Number. By providing a Social Security Number, you will be able to register online as soon as you receive an email with registration instructions. Otherwise, you will need to retrieve your Student ID in person at one of our registration offices. Due to Federal privacy laws, employees are not allowed to provide personal information, including Student ID numbers, over the phone or via email.

  • Please provide a personal email address. By providing an email address, you will be able to reset your PIN at any time without having to contact the registration office.

  • Choose a PIN that you can remember. At the end of the application, you will be asked to select a PIN to use when registering using myGateway. Your PIN must be exactly six characters long and can contain numbers and letters. (Beginning July 1, 2009)

Once your application is submitted and processed, you will receive an e-mail containing instructions on how to register.

EXISTING STUDENTS

You are considered an existing student if you have ever applied or taken classes at Cypress College, Fullerton College or the School of Continuing Education.

If you are an existing student you can register online even if you do not know your student I.D. number. You only need to know your Social Security number. You do not need to fill this application out.

How to Use the School of Continuing Education Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
