Please be aware that regulations require that an online application may only be submitted by the student. At the point of submission you will be affirming that the application data belongs only to you. Submitting an application for another person is not allowed.
YOUR STUDENT ID WILL NOT BE MAILED. YOU MUST RETRIEVE YOUR OWN ID NUMBER THROUGH OUR SURF REGISTRATION SYSEM OR IN PERSON.
We are currently accepting and processing online applications for Fall 2009 (8/24-12/19/09). Processing time for Fall 2009 applications is approximately 3 - 4 business days.
After we process your application, you will neeed to retrieve your SURF ID and Password by going to the SURF website at http://surf.miracosta.edu. You will be asked a series of questions which will allow you to obtain your SURF ID and set up a password. If you do not submit your social security number, we will assign and mail a susbstitute number that will be needed to obtain your SURF ID online - OR - you may come to the Community Education office and by showing a picture identification, you may obtain your SUFR ID number.
Classes fill quickly and it is important to submit your application as soon as possible.
Some applicants may need to provide additional material to complete the application. These applicants will be contacted by mail to provide the necessary information. If you have questions, contact the Community Education office at (760) 795-8710.
