Applicants with Disabilities

Applicants with disabilities submit the same information as all applicants.
If you feel that your entrance examination or high school/college performance was adversely affected by special circumstances, you may choose to include with your application agreement a separate statement summarizing your circumstances.
Northern's Center for Access-Ability Resources (CAAR), at (815) 753-1303, can provide you with information about services and will help you gain access to the specific services you need to succeed as a Northern student.
Contacting CAAR early, preferably as soon as you are accepted into the university, will help assure that you receive the assistance most appropriate to your circumstances.
