CAMPUS SUMMARY
Alaska Bible College began in 1966 and grew out of the vision of Vincent J. Joy, Sr. who saw the need for biblical education and ministry traning in Alaska. ABC is non-denominational and our purpose is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ and extend His Church by equipping, and motivating believers to transform the world through ministries that evangelize, disciple, and meet human needs.
ABC is located in Glennallen, about 200 miles northeast of Anchorage at the foot of the Wrangell Mountains. The town of Glennallen has developed at the crossroads between Anchorage, Fairbanks, Tok, and Valdez, and has many small businesses that provide needed services to the community.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Alaska Bible College offers a 4-year Bachelor of Arts Degree Program with all students being a Bible major, with the option of choosing a second major in the following areas: Educational Ministries, Missions, Pastoral, or a TESOL Certificate.
ABC also offers a 1 or 2-year Bible Certificate Program, as well as a 2-year Associate of Arts degree, all which provide a strong Biblical foundation.
The faculty and staff at ABC are missionaries who are committed to the Lord and ministry. Students benefit from the depth and breadth of their ministry experiences.
ABC's remote location removes students from many of life's distractions. Surrounded by the beauty of mountians, rivers, and lakes, the ABC campus enables students to quietly reflect on God and their personal spiritual journey. With distractions minimized, students can concentrate on the study of God's Word and its application to their lives.
The friendliness of the small learning community enables students to get to know one another well and take advantage of the opportunity to build deep and lasting relationships with faculty and staff.
God instructs us through Peter to "grow int he grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18 NIV). Alaska Bible College is an excellent place to experience such growth. The ABC leadership team desires to serve you by being used of God as a catalyst to stimulate this growth in your life. We encourage you to come and grow with us!
