CAMPUS SUMMARY
Arapahoe Community College (ACC) has grown from a single campus in Littleton to include a satellite campus at University Center at Chaparral in Parker, Colorado. Offering hundreds of courses in disciplines ranging from computer science, automotive technology, mortuary science, nursing, interior design and criminal justice (just to name a few), ACC is one of the most comprehensive community colleges in the nation with academic tracks leading to both the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. Accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, Illinois, 312-263-7420, Arapahoe Community College also maintains specialized accreditation in numerous programs from professional accrediting agencies. Through this accreditation, ACC's transfer credit is fully recognized.

With a student population that reflects the growing diversity of Colorado, ACC encourages personal growth and development while providing educational offerings to students of all ages and backgrounds. Truly, ACC recognizes and values the uniqueness of each individual and strives to challenge and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Over 7,200 students are enrolled at Arapahoe Community College in credit classes each semester, and an additional 5,000 students take non-credit Community Education classes in a variety of professional, technical or personal interest areas. Furthermore, nearly 1,000 students participate in customized training programs designed to meet the needs of local employers.

With a full range of student services including counseling, advising, financial aid, disability and support services, career placement and a child development center, ACC is committed to serving the needs of all students.

In concert with these services, the College's Student Affairs Office promotes a wide range of student centered offerings that include a variety of clubs, a student government association as well as a student-run newspaper, guest speakers, concerts and other activities designed to augment ACC's educational offerings. Additionally, ACC's main campus in Littleton boasts a library with a comprehensive paralegal collection as well as a gymnasium, full weight circuit and swimming pool.

So whether you attend ACC for one course or enroll to earn a degree, you are part of an exciting learning experience that will last a lifetime.
