Notification of admission: on a rolling basis, Students are notified of Shimer's decision within approximately one week of application completion, starting September 15.
Acceptance of admission: Most Shimer students notify Shimer of their intent to enroll by May 1. Because of Shimer's rolling admission policy, some students may apply late and get back to Shimer later. Because of limited housing and financial aid, we strongly recommend sending enrollment deposits by May 1.
