CAMPUS SUMMARY
St. John Fisher is an independent, liberal arts institution. It was founded in 1948 by the Basilian Fathers as a Catholic college for men and in 1971 became a coeducational institution. Today, Fisher remains true to its Basilian heritage by empasizing lifelong learning and service to others.

The Fisher campus is located just a few miles southeast of Rochester, NY in the suburb of Pittsford. It is situated on 140 park-like acres, consisting of 18 modern buildings, several of which were newly renovated. This ideal location provides students with the opportunity to utilize the resources the Rochester area has to offer.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
St. John Fisher offers 27 academic majors in the humanities, social sciences, sciences, business, and nursing, as well as nine pre-professional programs.

In addition to its baccalaureate degrees, the college offers 12 graduate programs within the degrees of Master of Science (MS) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
