The Hallmark Institute of Photography was established 25 years ago to provide an accelerated academic path to a career in professional photography. Our unique ten-month in residence program is designed to equip the motivated student with all of the tools that he or she will need to successfully launch a career in the very competitive imaging marketplace. Although many fine photographic schools teach the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography, Hallmark Institute teaches these and much, much more. Along with aesthetic and technical imaging training, Hallmark Institute provides a foundation of knowledge to manage or participate in a successful photographic business. All aspects of photographic disciplines including commercial, portrait, industrial imaging, both conventional and digital, are a part of our exciting, fast-paced educational environment. Our professional staff, with their mature and challenging approach to a photographic education, prepares the graduate to compete in this challenging profession. In addition to the production of an outstanding portfolio, the graduate is helped with interviewing skills, creates and presents a realistic business plan, and designs and creates his or her own promotional web site.
