CAMPUS SUMMARY
Our campus, situated on 266 acres, is located within the village of Fredonia. A blend of traditional and modern design, the master plan was created by internationally recognized architect I.M. Pei. Facilities include a modern library, 13 residence halls, Williams Student Center, Michael C. Rockefeller Arts Center, 2 science facilities, Mason Hall music complex, a field house and physical education building with indoor track and ice hockey rink, a natatorium, a health center, and several additional classroom and specialized facilities.

Located in Western New York, the campus provides a beautiful place to enjoy the college experience. Surrounded by opportunities for outdoor recreation including skiing, white water rafting and camping, our location offers easy access to suburban shopping malls in Buffalo and Erie, Pa Lake Erie is a five-minute drive from our campus.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Fredonia offers more than 50 liberal arts and career-oriented programs built upon a foundation of general education courses stressing improvement of skills and broadening of knowledge. We have a nationally renowned School of Music with 11 different academic program options, a School of Education offering field-based experiences beginning in the freshman year and several unique programs including Recombinant Gene Technology and Media Arts. In addition to interacting with excellent faculty, Fredonia students learn in small classes and have opportunities for undergraduate research.
