McCann School of Business and Technology began in 1897 at Mahanoy City, PA, as a school of accountancy and secretarial training. Even then our objective was clearly stated: to provide the highest quality education in the field of business. The Sunbury Campus is located in the heart of downtown Sunbury, Northumberland County. The school fills a need for qualtiy business and technology training in the county, and in the neighboring counties of Montour, Snyder, Union, and Columbia, in the Greater Susquehanna Valley.
The mission of McCann School of Business and Technology is to provide a range of quality education which prepares students for meaningful and profitable employment in the world of business, and allied health. We offer "hands-on", high-tech training that can be put to immediate use. We focus our efforts to provide educational programs designed to offer students marketable skills, and obtain career advancement or competence in a new skill. Our main focus is career preparation and our goal is to make students employable in a business career.
The Sunbury Campus, opened in 1998, located in downtown Sunbury, in the Municipal Building, in a modern, air conditioned suite, housing school offices, classrooms, library, computer labs, and a student lounge. |

We have articulation agreements/credit transfer agreements with Alvernia College, Slippery Rock University, Allentown College of DeSales University, and Cedar Crest College.
