CAMPUS SUMMARY
The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology, founded 1953, is located on a twelve acre campus in Media, Pennsylvania. Media is situated between the cities of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Wilmington, Delaware. The campus, located minutes from Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 is also accessible by public transportation. The Rose Valley-Moylan Station of the Septa R3 Rail Line is directly across from the campus. P.I.T. also operates a shuttle to the Septa 101 Trolley Line.

The primary mission of the college is to provide an opportunity for career education enabling graduates to work or pursue advanced degrees. The broader mission of the College is to assist all committed learners, including all recent high school graduates, General Eqivalency Diploma (GED) recipients, individuals in the midst of career change or updating their skills, and persons continuing their education to be more self-sufficient through career education, and to develop an appreciation for life long learning. The College's instructional programs emphasize small classes with individualized attention.

Students can obtain both a degree and industry certification through either Microsoft or Cisco. The College offers an onsite Testing Center for both certification academies.
