As a first-year student, you may choose from among 20 Penn State campuses to start your education. Many students (about 60 percent) spend their first two years at one campus, then move to another location to finish their degrees. Where you finish depends on your major and the type of campus you prefer.

Field of Technology:



As one of Penn State’s technology centers, Wilkes-Barre offers a variety of educational opportunities in a number of technology fields. The Center for Technology provides up-to-date laboratories, as well as an interactive teleconference center and a satellite connection that broadcasts Penn State courses.



Continuing Education:



Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education serves individuals and organizations in Luzerne, Wyoming, Bradford and Sullivan counties by offering education and training opportunities based on community needs. Programs are offered at convenient locations and times to
serve companies and individuals of all ages.



Professional development and customized training opportunities can help individuals and working adults prepare for new careers or
enhance their knowledge and skills for career advancement. School age youth can enrich their experiences by attending academic enrichment and athletic camps.
