CAMPUS SUMMARY
Pennsylvania Culinary is an institution of higher learning whose purpose is to provide a career education for its students. Since our establishment in 1986, Pennsylvania Culinary has grown to become one of the largest culinary and hospitality institutes in the United States with an enrollment of over 1500 students. Pennsylvania Culinary is approved to grant an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology in Culinary Arts, an Associate Degree in Specialized Technology in Pastry Arts and an Aossicate Degree in Specialized Business in Hotel/Restaurant Management. These programs prepare students for entry-level positions as cooks, bakers, chef trainees, pastry chef trainees and mangement trainees.
Pennsylvania Culinary is located in the heart of Pittsburgh's business and cultural districts. The instiute is equipped with ten state-of-the-art kitchens, twenty-two classrooms that utilize the lastest electronic and computer technology, a full-service dining room lab and mixology lab, a library resource and computer lab.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Our 16 month School of Culinary Arts program includes introduction classes, Soups Stock Sauce and Starch Production, Meats Game and Poultry, Seafood Processing and Charcuterie, Baking and Pastry, Classical Cuisine, International Cookery and Garde Manger.
Our 16 month School of Pastry Arts program entails introduction classes, Specialized Bakery Products, Speciality Cakes and Variety Pie Production, French Pastry Petit Fours and Cookies, Specialized and Plated Desserts and Advanced Pastry Arts Sculpting and Design.
Our 16 month Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality and Restaurant Management program includes introduction classes as well as Hotel & Restaurant Operations Management, Operation Mixology & Beverage Management Certification, Menu Design and Entrepreneurial Approach to Catering and Group Sales.

Graduates of each of our programs will acquire proficiency in both front and back of the house operations, as well as in the techniques and principles of food service management.
