The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is one of the world's best known and most respected schools of Aviation Maintenance Technology. Students may specialize in aviation maintenance or aviation electronics. PIA also offers an eighteen month diploma program in Commercial Electronics. Most PIA graduates are immediately employed by the major and regional airlines.


UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Graduates of PIA's Aviation Maintenance Technology program (AMT) receive an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree, and are prepared for certification by the FAA as Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanics.
Graduates of PIA's Aviation Electronics program (AET) receive an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree and are prepared for licensing by the FCC.
