Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU), founded in 1948, is a residential, co-educational member of the University System of Georgia. Located on 198 acres of naturally wooded landscape in the historic city of Marietta, Georgia. SPSU is just 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta. Approximately 4,800 students study here and enjoy the University’s closeness to all the activities and opportunities of metro Atlanta as well as all the comforts of life in the suburbs.
