CAMPUS SUMMARY
Quinnipiac University, home to 5500 undergraduate and 2000 graduate and part time students, offers 50 undergraduate and 16 graduate programs through the College of Liberal Arts, Schools of Business, Health Sciences, Communications, the Division of Education, and the School of Law.

Quinnipiac's mission is three fold: to provide quality academic programs in a student oriented environment on a campus with a strong sense of community.

Adjacent to the 1700 acre Sleeping Giant State Park (great for hiking), the 500 acre campus is attractive and inviting. With 70+ clubs and organizations, Division I athletic teams (21 sports) and extensive intramural activities, the campus is active and inviting.

Housing in a variety of attractive residence hall settings is guaranteed to all full time undergraduates - 75% of freshmen are from out of state, and 95% of freshmen live on campus.

Quinnipiac is located in Hamden Connecticut, a suburban community, just 8 miles north of New Haven, and 2 hours each from Boston or New York City. Shopping, theaters, a variety of restaurants, museums and trails are nearby. Amtrak, and Metro North (from Grand Central terminal in NYC) come to the New Haven train station.

Founded in 1929 as a Business School, Quinnipiac has expanded over the years, became a University on July 1, 2000, and attracts students from 25 states and 18 countries. Visit the campus or check our website at http://www.quinnipiac.edu to explore us further.
