The Great Books Program is one of two General Education "tracks" in the College of Liberal Arts. This curriculum of eight sequential courses places the College among a select group of colleges in this country that give students, in an extensive course of study, direct contact with the classic writers and thinkers who have shaped and still describe the Western tradition. Guided by committed and rigorous instructors, students can best discover the connection with this tradition through reading, discussion,
and writing about these classics.
