CAMPUS SUMMARY
Centre is one of the nation's leading private liberal arts institutions. From U.S. vice presidents, to Supreme Court justices, to the Hard Rock Cafe's founder, the College has produced extraordinarily successful alumni. Centre's mission is to bring together outstanding young people and top teachers in an exceptional environment and prepare these students for lives of learning, leadership, and service.
The College is located on a beautiful 115-acre Greek Revival campus in Danville, Kentucky, within easy driving distance of three major cities. Centre also sponsors campuses in Ecuador, England, France, and Mexico where charges are the same for study on the Danville campus. About 60% of Centre students study in a foreign country before graduation (the highest percentage of any Kentucky school and among the highest in the nation).

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Centre is nationally known for its vigorous undergraduate program. In Kentucky, from U.S. News and World Report to The Fiske Guide to The Princeton Review, Centre, in the words of the Louisville Courier-Journal, "routinely gets the highest ratings for academic quality." This reputation comes from an uncompromising commitment to quality. Centre teachers are experts in their fields who expect 100% from their students and give 100% in return. They invite students to their homes and engage in joint research with them that often results in publication and presentations at professional meetings.
In addition to the high-energy academics, Centre has an extensive internship program that allows students to gain real-world experience while earning degree credit. This plays a big role in the unusual career success of Centre alumni and helps explain why they've led the nation in annual financial support percentage over the last decade.
Centre's study abroad program is one of the nation's finest, with two-thirds of its students participating in programs in London, Strasbourg, Mexico, and Japan.
