| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
 |
Pratt Institute, one of the premier art, design and architecture schools nationwide, is located on a 25-acre tree-lined campus in the historic Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn, just 25 minutes from downtown Manhattan, one hour from Jones Beach on the Atlantic Ocean on the Atlantic Ocean, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, and two hours form the Catskill Mountains or the Poconos for skiing. Pratt’s close proximity to New York City is a distinct advantage to our students, providing them with easy access to Manhattan’s galleries, museums, and cultural events. Pratt is one of the few colleges in New York City that offers on-campus housing. Approximately 75 percent of our freshmen and more than half of all students live on our main campus in one of our five residence halls. |
