HISTORY OF THE COLLEGES The Denver Campus is the main campus for the following branch campuses: Remington College-Colorado Springs Campus; Colorado Springs, CO; Remington College-Dallas Campus; Dallas, TX; Remington College-Honolulu Campus; Honolulu, HI; and Remington College-Tempe Campus, Tempe, AZ.
Remington College-Dallas Campus, Inc. acquired the branch locations at each site in December 1998. In February of 1999, the main campus status was changed from Education America-Dallas Campus to Remington College-Denver Campus.
EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES/MISSION STATEMENT The principal objective of the campuses is to provide career training and to help students in their attempt to obtain relevant entry-level employment. The campuses offer programs that are career focused in fields that are believed to have employment opportunities. The campuses hire faculty that meet or exceed the standards set by the accrediting agencies and the regulators.
ACCREDITATION, AFFILIATIONS & LICENSING The institutions utilizing this common catalog are of common ownership and control. Remington College-Denver Campus, is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), Suite 980, 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002-4241 as the main campus for the branch campus including Remington College-Colorado Springs Campus; Colorado Springs, CO; to award the following degrees:
Remington College-Colorado Springs Campus Associate of Applied Science Degree Programs, Certificate Programs and Bachelor of Science Degree Programs
The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. Its accreditation of degree-granting institutions also is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. |
