CAMPUS SUMMARY
York College is a friendly, ideal-sized, private liberal arts college offering many professional programs of study. Emphasis is placed on an outstanding teaching faculty, the majority of whom hold doctorates or other terminal degrees. Graduates enjoy a 90% career placement rate. Founded in 1787, the 118-acre park-like campus is located in historic York County within the rolling hills of south-central Pennsylvania. Interstate access is convenient--one hour from Baltimore, two hours from Washington, DC, two and a half hours from Philadelphia, and a four-hour drive from Pittsburgh and Richmond. York is widely recognized for offering high quality educational programs and modest tuition.

UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Students may access the high-speed computer network from every on-campus room, from home using a modem or in any of the several computer labs. The Music, Arts and Communication Center houses a state-of-the-art television studio, recital hall, and art gallery equipped to handle national exhibits. The newly constructed Nursing Education Center replicates state-of-the-art hospital environments and is located adjacent to the recently acquired Mechanical Engineering labs and classrooms. All science labs have been extensively renovated to provide students with the latest technology. U.S. News & World Report and Barron's have consistently ranked York College as a "Best Value" based on high academic quality and reasonable cost.
