CAMPUS SUMMARY
The history of Wholistic health care in America was shaped by a small group of pioneers who paved the way over the last few decades and who continue to lead health care into the 21st century.

At the forefront of this movement has been the Wholistic Health Center, founded in Manhasset in 1976 by Robert and Tina Sohn and a small group of dedicated followers. Due to many patient requests to learn the techniques that were healing them from a wide range of disorders, the school was formed in 1981, called the New Center for Wholistic Health Education and Research.

The school grew quickly as the community expressed greater interest in learning about the Eastern healing arts and their integration with Western medicine.

In 1993, the school moved to its present expansive 54,000-square-foot facility in Syosset, New York, on the beautiful North Shore of Long Island, approximately 30 miles from Manhattan. Its proximity to all major parkways provides easy access to one of the world's most exciting cities, while capturing the serenity, beauty, and open space of the suburbs.

All of the college’s educational programs have evolved over years of study and include a curriculum that integrates the methodologies of the East and the West for both preventative and curative medicine. Currently almost 800 students are enrolled in the New York College programs and its clinics provide over 30,000 patient treatments annually. The New York College continues to be a leader and pioneer in the field of Wholistic health.
