CAMPUS SUMMARY
The Sunbridge campus is located 30 miles north of New York City in a natural, wooded environment managed by the Threefold Educational Foundation. On or near the campus are a student residence, a performing arts auditorium, the Green Meadow Waldorf School, a center for eurhythmy (an art of movement), a biodynamic garden, the Hungry Hollow natural foods market, a homeopathic (Weleda) pharmacy, and the Fellowship Community for the elderly. Sunbridge College was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 1968 and moved to New York in 1986.

Activities at Sunbridge College are based on the work of the Austrian philosopher and teacher Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925). He was the founder of the first Waldorf school, and of anthroposophy — a holistic approach to the human being and the universe that takes into account the working together of physical, soul, and spiritual aspects. His spiritual scientific research has led to important innovations in such areas as education, medicine, architecture, the arts, social science, etc., as well as in agriculture.
