TYPES OF AID AVAILABLE
Types of loans available:
  • Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
  • FFEL Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
  • College/University Loans
  • AWNSA (Association of Waldorf Schools of America) loans for Teacher Training/Early Childhood Program. For full-time teacher training students: if student graduate teaches in an AWSNA certified USA Waldorf school for 3 consecutive years, the loan is forgiven. Loans may range between $500-$2,500.
Need-based scholarships/grants available:
  • private scholarships/grants
  • AWNSA scholarships for currently practicing Waldorf teachers - the AWNSA school that employs the student must match the scholarship amount.
    Sunbridge College Scholarships -Ranges $500-$2,000 for US & Canadian Students.
    Special Scholarships for International Students- $2,000-$6,000.
    Work Study - Currently $8.50 per hour for living expenses, between 5-10 hours per week and approximately $1200-$2400
