CAMPUS SUMMARY
Peace College, founded in 1857, offers baccalaureate degrees for women. About 670 students attend the college, which is located on a 19-acre campus in downtown Raleigh, NC within blocks of the Governor's Mansion, the state legislature, Exploris global learning center, and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. The four-story main building at Peace was used as a Confederate Hospital and Freedman's Bureau.
